The NatWest onecard recently won Best Business Card Programme at the Card Awards 2009.
Through our strategic marketing division, The Marketing Eye, we were asked to create concepts for a customer facing marketing campaign, targeted primarily at finance directors and owners of businesses with a turnover of between £5million and £25million. The creative communications were to included direct mail and e-newsletters and leveraged the credibility the award afforded.
The onecard wheel, part of the existing brand identity, was married with a 3D simulated award to create a visual connection between onecard and an award winning product.
The enthusiasm and buy-in of staff to ensure a campaign like this one successful is paramount. Therefore a supporting internal communication campaign which comprised of an e-bulletin along with an opportunity spotting guide for relationship managers was also produced.
